Dr. Partida was born in Michoacán, Mexico, and raised in the inner city of Los Angeles. From a young age, Dr. Partida exhibited a deep fascination with animals, which was further nurtured by family experiences in farming and ranch life. Inspired by a children's book found in the local library about endangered species, Dr. Partida developed a passion for veterinary medicine, driven by a desire to care for animals and promote their welfare.
After excelling academically at Cal Poly Pomona, where Dr. Partida received honors during undergraduate studies, his journey continued at the University of Health Sciences in Pomona. It was here that Dr. Partida's commitment to veterinary medicine solidified, combining rigorous academic training with practical experience.
Throughout these academic pursuits, Dr. Partida maintained a strong commitment to community service and youth empowerment. As President of a veterinary club at the university, Dr. Partida led initiatives focused on outreach to children in underdeveloped regions. These efforts aimed to inspire and mentor young professionals of color and from underprivileged backgrounds, encouraging them to pursue careers in veterinary medicine and beyond.
Currently residing in Riverside County, Dr. Partida enjoys exploring new cuisines, particularly Mexican and Italian food, reflecting a passion for diverse flavors and culinary experiences. Family plays a central role in Dr. Partida's life, enjoying quality time with a loving spouse, two children, and a cherished dog. Outside of work and family, Dr. Partida finds joy in live music and dancing, embracing cultural activities that enrich personal connections and experiences.
