Kirstie Boyd, DVM

Dr. Boyd completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2013 at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in 2018. After receiving her DVM, she has predominantly worked in multi-specialty emergency and referral hospitals, where her love for emergency medicine flourished.

Dr. Boyd cherishes her free time by sharing moments with loved ones, exploring the great outdoors, and attending various sporting events. She finds joy in the company of her beloved Quarter Pony, Trinket, as well as her Terrier Mix, Elmer, and Australian Cattle Dog Mix, Taz.

As a passionate veterinarian with a deep commitment to animal care, she is thrilled to serve as the Urgent Care Medical Director in the field which she loves. With years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine, she has honed her skills in providing swift, compassionate, and life-saving treatment for animals in critical situations. Dr. Boyd is eager to work alongside a team that delivers exceptional care and prompt attention to urgent cases. She is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of animals and their human companions, one urgent care case at a time!
